Hugo Nicolle is a garden and landscape designer with his own practice based in Cambridgeshire.

Graduating from Edinburgh University with a degree in Business and an early career in Advertising Hugo Nicolle retrained in Garden Design at the prestigious English Gardening School in London, graduating with a distinction in 2002.

With a lifelong interest in the Arts and Culture, his influences are drawn from this wide arena of design – painting, sculpture, fashion, interiors and architecture to, more specifically, English and Mediterranean garden design. His designs respond to his clients’ brief and the specifics of site and are informed by his own feel for proportion, form, texture and colour.

Early years were spent designing and building gardens in and around London. This led to larger commissions in the home counties and Southern France. His home and business is now located in East Cambridgeshire where he also manages a large garden which is open to the public several months a year.

His practice offers a full garden design service, construction management, planting design and styling.
